Bio-Rad Laboratories is seeking a motivated Marketing / Product Development Intern to support high-impact initiatives within our ddPCR (droplet digital PCR) portfolio. This internship focuses on connecting Voice of Business (VOB) insights to product requirements and translating those insights into working prototype solutions, including AI-powered capabilities that improve the ddPCR workflow.
This role provides hands-on exposure to business-driven product development, requirements definition, and real-world implementation in a cross-functional life sciences environment.
How You’ll Make An Impact:
- Bringing structure and clarity to Voice of Business inputs that are often fragmented across teams.
- Identifying high-value opportunities that improve the ddPCR customer experience.
- Translating qualitative insights into actionable, well-defined product requirements.
- Supporting the development of prototype features that align with real customer and business priorities.
- Enabling more informed, data-driven product decisions within the ddPCR organization.
What You Bring:
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited university in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Bioengineering, Life Sciences or related field. Eligible candidates must be rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students who intend to return to their academic program the following academic year.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in product development, marketing, or business-driven technology solutions.
Location: This position must be based in Pleasanton, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

Compensation: The hourly range for this position is $25 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
